What else could we ask for?

We love it when clients come to us with a cool new concept that we can run wild with. With The Grateful Taco, the idea was to create a kick-ass brand for a taco restaurant on St. Pete Beach themed after the Grateful Dead.

After researching iconic Grateful Dead memorabilia and authentic Mexican restaurants throughout the world, the brand identity was born. The brand features tie-dye and textural elements with chunky typography and colorful imagery.

We developed the logo and all the brand assets, including several variations of the skull, taglines and other illustrations that tie it all together. We then applied the brand to apparel, hot sauce labels, and packaging. As part of the brand package, we created an interior lookbook outlining how to apply the brand to a physical space. We were awarded the American Graphic Design Awards GDUSA 2016 Award for The Grateful Taco branding.
