American Barrels

American Barrels founder Michael Reed was in search of a creative team to expand on his inventive spirits brand. In keeping the logo and bottle design, we revamped the entire American Barrels consumer experience from start to finish.

We successfully integrated the origin story and thoughtful bottle design into every facet of the new branding. This resulted in increased brand exposure for American Barrels, and it continues to expand its reach.

Photography & Videography

One of the highlights of this project was our photo and video production. We produced a series of four commercials (there may or may not have been a rattlesnake involved) that were viewed nationwide. In the first few weeks, one commercial garnered more than 300,000 views on Facebook.

Public Relations

What good is a great bourbon if nobody has heard of it? We developed a plan to reach both current and prospective consumers for American Barrels. Our public relations team garnered national press through print, digital, radio and TV interviews that introduced the product to new audiences. Wish lists don’t scare us; we got American Barrels in desired niche publications like those from the National Rifle Association (NRA). Within the first two months of our service, American Barrels was featured in the NRA’s American Rifleman Gift Guide, and we secured placement in the print issues of Shooting Illustrated and American Hunter.
