The Shops at Bell Tower had been the go-to shopping center for the Fort Myers-Cape Coral area for more than 35 years, and it was high time to shake it up. Real estate management company Madison Marquette knew they needed to rebrand the open-air center to meet the shifting needs and expectations of their customers, and that’s where Hype came in.

Solidifying the plaza’s role in the market aided in the overall design of the brand. But we knew that with a new mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, Bell Tower was going to be a magnetic all-day destination for any visitor. The underlying messaging throughout every aspect of the project was that Bell Tower would fill all of the consumer’s needs, with convenience and the experience being at the top of the list. This paved the way for Bell Tower’s tagline “Experience More”, which encouraged everyone who visited the shopping center to take part in all it had to offer.

Hype Group rolled out a complete brand overhaul. Now known as Bell Tower, the rebrand included an updated logo, assets, tagline and messaging, plus B2C and B2B materials. The final brand identity was vibrant, lively, and high impact. The flexibility of the brand allowed for easy application and interpretation to the physical and digital space. From signage, walls, windows, and way-finding, we created a sense of place and cohesiveness without losing the essence of Bell Tower and what keeps people coming back – the experience.
