Sunova was envisioned as a vibrant, experience-driven hospitality brand designed to capture the energy of golden hour in Central Florida. As a Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel coming to Kissimmee, the brand was intentionally developed to feel immersive, social, colorful, and emotionally driven, blending boutique hospitality with nightlife, leisure, and elevated escape culture. The identity moves away from traditional resort branding and instead leans into mood, atmosphere, and feeling. Every element was designed to evoke warmth, movement, connection, and the idea of transitioning from day into night.

Naming

The name “Sunova” was created as a modern fusion inspired by the sun, warmth, energy, and transformation. The name feels bold, memorable, and destination-oriented while naturally aligning with the concept of sunset culture, nightlife, cocktails, and escape. Positioned within the Marriott Tribute Portfolio collection, the name allows the property to stand independently with its own personality while still feeling elevated and hospitality-focused.

Branding

The visual identity for Sunova was designed to feel expressive, playful, and emotionally immersive while maintaining a clean boutique-hotel sophistication. Inspired by sunsets, retro-modern hospitality, tropical nightlife, and social energy, the system uses layered geometric shapes, soft curves, bold typography, and vibrant contrasting colors to create a brand that feels alive and instantly recognizable. The palette intentionally avoids stereotypical coastal blues and instead embraces sunset oranges, muted pinks, olive greens, creams, and deep contrasting tones to create a more fashion-forward hospitality aesthetic.

The branding system was extended across environmental graphics, menus, room keys, social media, print collateral, merchandise, digital campaigns, guest touchpoints, and lifestyle marketing materials to ensure a cohesive experience across every interaction with the property. The resulting identity positions Sunova as more than a hotel, it becomes a social destination built around atmosphere, emotion, and experience.
