Ives Founder Laura McGee contacted Hype as they were about to undergo a major transformation, a rename and rebrand of her store that’s been a local staple in Fort Myers, FL since 2004.

Ives was an established brand that came to us with this new name, in need of a redeveloped brand story and identity. What the retail consumer needed was a connection that was as meaningful as the brand they had come to know and love for so many years. We helped to craft Key Messaging to explain the Ives mission which is to curate eclectic ideals making exclusive gifts attainable to all.
Branding
What the Ives retail consumer was accustomed to was a brand that was as unique, playful and colorful as the products they sell. Once the Key Messaging was established, we moved into creative exploration and began crafting the distinctive visual identity system that would allow Ives to continue to thrive.
Our adaptable brand system was built to allow for immediate activation. Through custom patterns, hand-drawn illustrations and icons, beautiful assets, and a playful color palette of blues, pinks, neon yellow, and cream, our creative team was able to deliver a unique and marketable brand identity for Ives Curated Gifts.
Brand Evolution
The Brand Evolution included everything needed to easily transition to the Ives brand, such as paper goods, digital identity, and business collateral. With such a variety of opportunities, our team successfully implemented the new brand assets in numerous ways. We customized illustrations, developed a unique brand pattern, and incorporated typographic elements throughout. The Ives experience is elevated by eye-catching colors, eclectic materials, and playful vibes.
