Horse Soldier
Horse Soldier Bourbon was founded by a team of retired Green Berets who, days after 9/11, traveled to Afghanistan, rode horseback, and defeated the Taliban. Today, the men are best known as America’s “Horse Soldiers.” These war heroes also hoped to be legends in the spirits industry. They came to Hype with a solidified brand and mission but needed help telling their story on social media.

Research, brainstorming, and social listening led our team to develop a branded, thoughtful social media strategy while staying true to Horse Soldier Bourbon’s proud history. Before working with Hype, Horse Soldier Bourbon had an inconsistent social approach, and their content didn’t adequately reflect the high-quality bourbon they were distilling. We were able to align their social profiles with the story they were trying to tell, both visually and verbally. Hype’s social team created content themes, implemented a strategic plan and drafted a monthly content calendar, all of which was driven by Horse Soldier Bourbon’s goals and audience.
The Results
After a year of working together, the results were clear. Our content was reaching a higher number of people, and those people were actively engaging. We increased their social following on both Facebook and Instagram, and consistently analyzed these developing audiences to ensure we were telling Horse Soldiers story consistently, and in a way their followers enjoyed.
